Perhaps it's me, but I've been looking for friendship only on many websites lately. Some offer chat, many have message boards, and all offer dating services.
I have no objection to the many of us looking for a romantic match, but there are many of us who just want to build friendships at this stage (60 and beyond) in life. It seems that most of these sites don't allow much space for us. Are we a silent minority? : :

`I just think you looking in the wrong spot..
this is primarily a dating site and were as it is possible to find friendships on here...
you probably shouldn't count on it...
ami.. yahoo .. and msn have tons of chat rooms groups and blog spots ............
