I am a retired, happily married female. My husband and I have recently moved to a retirement community, and although many of the residents are older than we are, I love the amenities and have made some wonderful friends.

I was a nurse, in the psychiatric field of medicine for many years prior to my retirement, and still have great interest in psychiatry. I also have a wide range of interests including reading, travel and music.

I am looking for age appropriate friends with whom to share the joys and experiences of daily living. Retirement is great, but it is also an adjustment. Moving to a new home after living over 30 years in another state takes some getting used to as well.

After living in close proximity to people I know well, I am meeting and getting used to new faces. I think I do better as a chatter, at least initially, than a face to face social butterfly....all the qualities one would look for in a good friend are right here; and I'd love to share!
