Must like onions Onions? Literally and figuratively - people have many layers and I can't imagine cooking without them.

I am a creative, somewhat unconventional big beautiful, full-figured woman who loves to laugh, despite life's challenges and does not mind pushing the envelope a bit (have 4 meaningful tattoos and cannot guarantee that I will not add to the collection). My style is edgy though not exclusive of midwestern earthiness (I grew up in Ohio).

As far as money goes, I wouldn't throw a winning lottery ticket away but it is not the be all and end all. I have a positive work ethic,a bachelor's degree in history and love learning for the sake of learning.

The golden rule is my guideline and I am a firm believer in common sense courtesy. I'm honest and direct with a liberal outlook that is comfortable in California.

Like to watch sports? Me too! Love to go to baseball games, am a huge Buckeyes football fan (got to go to the 2010 Rose Bowl) and have recently acquired a new found enthusiasm for the NHL. The 2010 Olympics and Ryan Miller have got me rooting for the Buffalo Sabres. Warning: I am a vocal sports watcher and have a horrible weakness for bar food and anything spicy.

Travel and adventure are wonderful as is live music or a picnic but I also enjoy an evening at home, gatherings with friends and family, love movies, playing board or card games, jazz, a good glass of red wine or a new culinary adventu
