Having a carreer in banking behind me, I've turned my sights on poetry and philosophy, the former a new passion, the latter an old obsession. I spend most of my time alone. This makes me bubbly when with people to the point of being giggly and impossible to shut up. I'm a young retirer, with an insatiable passion for older women. In my twenties and thirties I dated women in their fifties, in my forties my lady friends were sixty up, now I've been celibate for eight or nine years (lost count) because of diabetes, weight problem, middle-age impatience. I am hopeful that I'll find a special friend, a woman, any age absolutely, who's above average in intelligence, bright and optimistic, a spark still burning, spirited, enthusiastic. Marital status unimportant. I insist on a reasonable shape. You may be overweight, but not to the same extend as I. Do you love literature? Bantering? Company of educated, curious people with inquiring minds? Do you play Bridge (any level)? Do you mind if your friend is not able to walk even medium long distances? Is your mind open to take in new ideas, turn them around in your head, try them on for size, find their taste, and develop a liking for them? Do you make people laugh, or can you laugh easily? Please have an agile mind or a gentle and loving nature, either will do, but without both we'd be fighting an uphill battle as relationship-hopefuls.
