I'm a transplanted New Yorker, where I spent the better part of my life, mostly living in Manhattan. I had a glamorous life as a newspaper reporter/columnist and also an author of how-to books. I am divorced, (twice from the same man!) and while I couldn't have children myself I adopted my daughter from an orphanage in Russia when she was almost 7 and I was in my 50's. We moved to Tucson in Aug. of 2001. She's finishing up school and is presently living with me (the economy isn't good and she can only work part time -- which is the case with so many kids these days!) I continue to write books, also love to read, love movies and have many other interests. Looking for someone to share quality time with.
