Nothing really complicated here. I'm a simple man with a good heart and an even temperament. I have high moral values, and I've led a life I am proud of.I think I've had all the drama I can use for this lifetime, and now I just plan to continue in the the good life, free of stress and bumps and bruises. Yes, I'm overweight, but I carry it well, and I'm clean and neat, and I like to think I'm not too ugly either. ;^) I have a few disabilities, most from military service, and the rest from physical misadventures and wear and tear. I have all my parts, but they work slower now, and a bit more tenderly. I'm mobile and active, but don't bet on me to win, place, or show, because my speed is gone. I enjoy music of every kind (except opera and rap). Laughter is the sweetest music, as it lifts the spirit and soothes the soul. I enjoy dining out, and I'm a pretty fair cook too. I enjoy ethnic foods too, and can cook some Mexican, Italian, Cajun, and Greek dishes, as well as good old American comfort food. I enjoy good movies, but I prefer to buy or rent them and enjoy them in the comfort of my home. If the weather is nice I enjoy short trips of a day or two. I love nature, and I have house plants, flower beds, and a small garden patch. I lead a rather quiet, comfortable life, content with simple pleasures, but I'm up for something new.
