I am a female 64 years old and have been a widow for a little over 4 years now. I was born and raised in Toronto but have lived in Oshawa for 40 plus years. I have been lonely since my husband's death and am looking to find someone that is up for friendship and just hanging out...someone that will accept me as I am...kind of quiet and shy and overweight...have been all my life. I have 3 grown kids and a few grandchildren. My eyes and hair are brown and people have told me that I have a pretty face. I still work and hope to keep working as long as I can. I do have arthritis and have trouble maneuvering stairs because of my knees. I enjoy watching movies, reading, going out for dinner once in a while, taking drives in the country, looking at the scenery. Pretty simple lifestyle. I am not athletic in the least, unfortunately. I wish that I could be more active. My family could be referred to as "complicated", but I handle it. Most people tend to like me. I consider myself to be kind, but can also be thoughtless at times. I don't mean to be...some things just don't occur to me until after it is too late. I try to do what is right in my view and would never intentionally hurt anyone. I am not the type to be in your face...I even look for invitations from my own children before I go to visit. But, I will ask if it goes too long! When I love someone, it is unconditionally. My family and friends mean a lot to me and I am very loyal as a friend.
