I am a positive, active person. I have been a widow for the past year. Because I enjoy being with people, I decided to try this site as a possible way to meet others.
I was an elementary teacher for 39 years and retired two years ago. I enjoy gardening, bicycle riding, yoga and other activities. I also love the theater, concerts, traveling, getting together with friends and dining out.
With 5 children and 6 grandchildren my life is busy and enriched. I am a Christian and feel that a strong value system is the basis for a good healthy relationship.
I look forward to meeting a man who is retired or close to being retired. A semi professional or professional man would be ideal. Someone who is active and healthy with varied hobbies and interests would be a plus. A man who is open, honest, and caring with good values would also be attractive to me.
