Just a new stage of my life I am a fairly outgoing Christian female who was widowed 5 years ago and retired this year. Am a few pounds (ok, maybe more than a few - depends on what you call a few) overweight but have a great big heart to go with it. I'm looking for a man with a good sense of humor (laugh wrinkles encouraged), family oriented. I want someone who can accept me as I am as it's a little late to try to change me. I'll do the same. Want someone who is honest. I had my share of liars and thieves. Someone who is affectionate (don't object to handholding or hugging in public). Enjoy travel, partial to the mountains, looking forward to a cruise in the next couple of years. Vacations are always better shared. I enjoy reading, cooking, sitting on a porch enjoying a cup of tea or coffee, would rather have a special person (besides my 5 yr old grandson) to share how my day was, to just talk and relax. Anyway, I'm a firm believer in any relationship beginning as a great friendship first and letting it develop.
