I want to add a little clarity to my title: I don't believe in fairy tales (although the tooth fairy was REALLY hard to give up.)

I'm a professional woman who will probably be working till I'm 92 'cause Medicare won't be around by then!

I'm a voracious reader - political intrigue, mystery, historical fiction and anything a friend recommends. My cooking skills get a gourmet workout for company but on a daily basis it's pretty simple. Since I travel locally (within 4-5 hours) I will only travel for relaxation & entertainment on weekends. Board games and cards are also activities I enjoy - but I should warn you I can be pretty unbeatable!

Family means a great deal to me and with 10 sisters, 1 brother, 2 daughters and 26 nieces & nephews I'm rarely without someone to visit or have coffee with.

In addition to the above at home activities I enjoy sharing a good bottle of wine with a friend. I am an adventure lover, an explorer. I believe life is a journey - not a destination.

Have you ever been told you are a kind man? I would love to meet you. Doubly so if you can make me laugh & find humor in every day quirks (like kids and animals). Do you enjoy being adventurous in the kitchen or a rousing discussion of a good book?
