I don't really travel and I'll tell you the reason when I have gotten to know you better. My past has been bitter sweet in so many ways.... but I am a survivor and I firmly believe that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I love to laugh, but never at someone else's expense. I'm a home body. I do have some health issues, but they are manageable. I love to read, write, draw. My favorite places are Gloucester, Quabbin and Vermont. I have three girls, two step daughters and 6 grandchildren. My youngest daughter lives with me.

I love the simple pleasures of life... a beautiful sunset, star gazing, bubble bathes. I love all kinds of movies and love country music as well as light rock, light jazz and classical. I love to read ... cook ...garden and of course spend time with my family.

I'm looking for a friend... someone easy going, down to earth, emotionally accessible. A man who has nothing to prove, who feels comfortable in his own skin. Patience and compassion is a must quality.
