Lady seeks nice guy to hang out with Hello! I'm a 66-year-old widow who is seeking a local gentleman for friendship and companionship.

Published author who enjoys books, playing board games, jigsaw puzzles, traveling, going out to dinner, and taking my dog for long walks. I also like going to the movies, museums, or staying in and watching good TV.

I don't smoke or drink, and certainly don't do drugs. I am NOT 420 friendly or tolerant.

My favorite TV shows are NCIS, Bones, Forever, Extant, Resurrection, Downton Abbey, almost anything on PBS, the National Geographic channel, or the History channel. I don't enjoy scary movies or shows, or those with too much violence, and I positively abhor the "f" bomb.

I am a Christian (Episcopalian), but I'm not the type to shove my faith at you.

I am open-minded and liberal in my politics, and life in general. I have no prejudice when it comes to race, color, religion or politics.

I share my life with an elderly dog who has been a good companion to me since my husband passed away. He's just a little lacking in the conversation department.

I prefer to meet gentlemen who are within the Tulare County area. While I would dearly love to live by the sea again, and meeting someone who would sweep me off my feet and take me to Santa Barbara to live would be lovely, I'm expecting to stay pretty close to the Visalia area.

I don't have money, so don't ask. No prisoners either.

Every woman wants to be romanced, and I'm no exception, but I do NOT like to be approached with terms of endearment (dear, honey, sweetie, pretty, beautiful, and worst of all, babe) before a man has even gotten to know me.

At this point, I would just like to meet a nice guy to go out with, and hang out with. I'm not necessarily looking to get married again, but I'm not ruling it out either. Let's face it, there are some activities that are just no fun to do alone.
