I am a fairly placid person but will always make a stand for what is right. I teach small groups of children (as a Teaching Assistant) and also help lead the organisation of our EAL groups. I enjoy my job. I also love travel and have seen a few places around the world. Would seriously love to do more some time. I can enjoy an evening at the theatre but am not a a great one for gadding about to pubs and such, mostly because I don't drink, except an occasional glass of wine with a nice meal.

What I hope to find on this site is the possibiliity of meeting and making some new friends. If anything more develops from such a friendship then that's fine too. It has taken quite a lot of courage for me to join this site, bec ause while I am a friendly and happy person I can still be shy at times.
