I am a 73 year young man seeking friendship/companionship of a nice honest down to earth lady who is 60-70 yrs old and likes the simple things in life preferably within 20 miles or less of where I live. I am just a good old country boy who is a hard worker who earned everything I own honestly, I retired from the same job for over 30+ years and before that I was a farmer in Michigan until I relocated with my family to beautiful NC many years ago. I own my own home out in the country of course, I like to do yard work, I also have some hobbies one of which was restoring an old John Deere tractor about 1 1/2 years ago and it came out perfect if I do say so myself! I can cook for myself and make a wonderful vegetable soup and a few other things but I wouldn't mind a lady who loves to make those great home-made meals too. I like NASCAR racing, old time country music and really enjoy watching old westerns or a good movie or show on TV, I like gospel music, in my spare time I keep myself fit by riding my stationary bike 17 miles per day,I am twice widowed.I have dated a few times since my second wife passed away but I just haven't found that perfect companion and friend yet.
The type of lady that would be ideal to me is one who is down to earth, has NO DRAMA in her life and enjoys sitting at home watching a good movie as well as going out to eat having a nice home cooked meal.I also like to take a nice drive up to the mountains on a weekend to see what new sights we can find and also to enjoy the beautiful fall colors.
I would like to meet a lady who enjoys some of the same things I do, and become friends and see where that may leads us.If you are looking for someone to pay your way in life, or you have family drama, I am not interested.trust is an important thing in a relationship and a very important thing to me...so you need to be honest from the start with me and I will be totally honest with you.
