My friends tell me I'm fun, nice looking, and a great cook. I love to read, go to movies and out to dinner, and to travel. A new passion for me is my kayak, which I take up to Lake Tahoe whenever I can get away. I consider myself a liberal, and don't want to get into intense political discussion or be involved with ranting and raving about our government! No "Obama-bashers" need reply! My feeling is if you can't be part of the solution I don't have time for your opinions. After all, you know what they say about opinions... I love to laugh and have retained my sense of joy - life is too short to be gloomy or miserable. I am the proud mom of two wonderful boys (now growing into fine young men), and they still like to hang out with me from time to time. I think most people would like to find that special someone, but I feel that you need to have a strong friendship first. I'd love to go to the movies or out to dinner, and if by chance a romantic replies, so much the better. I prefer candlelight or firelight or starlight to the glare of the television! I have two small dogs and a guinea pig. I was raised around horses, so I am comfortable around most animals. I'd love to hear from like-minded men. By the way, I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, so smokers need not reply.
