Hi, my name is Annie. I am a Native and lifelong resident of New Orleans ... Harahan, to be exact, near the levee of the Mississippi River at Twelve Mile Point, on the site of an old sugar plantation.

I am Mother Nature's child, a garden goddess, a genuine, natural woman ... a free spirit who marches to the beat of that different drum, a merry spritewho dances to the tune that plays only in her own heart, who has no fear of strolling down the road less traveled, and takes the scenic route whenever possible.

Aside from fanily and the glory of Nature, my greatest delight is art. I am a poet, a writer and a painter. I love music, but I don't play. I can sing ... a little. I enjoy camping, hiking, boating, biking and I am an avid gardener.

I am always attracted to tall, thick men, but looks are far less important to me than character, personality and spirit. The qualities I admire are dignity, integrity, compassion, tolerance and respect.

I am a happy, peaceful person and I like myself and my life just fine. I do, however, hope to find a friend, a partner, a pal. a lover ... someone to share common goals, mutual interests and enrich each other's lives.

I believe that we receive from life that which we put forth, that we reap as we sow, that what goes around, comes around. I believe that our purpose in life is to love and our reward is to be loved by others. It is my goal to allow kindness, compassion and love to rule my life.
