I am 6', 235# DWM with minimal baggage in good shape. I awake every morning with a smile on my face. I live a very active yet simple life style. My passions: Being out and about. Hiking and camping. Exploring art museums and galleries, cities and town, hither and yon. Seeking out "treasures" in thrift shops and local auctions. Becoming a better dancer. Cooking, albeit, simply. Enjoying a glass or two of dry red wine and for attitude adjustment, a dish of ice cream. I do not seek out fine dining experiences.

I am well traveled here and abroad. Reasonably educated. Articulate. Able to maintain a conversation. I try to be a nice person. I am very open and upfront, sometimes to a fault.

I have a need to love a woman. I miss the romance, the togetherness, the intimacy. I miss looking forward to being with her.

I am attracted to a woman who is relatively tall and trim, articulate in both the written and spoken word, intellectually interesting, and in good physical condition, likes being out and about in the woods and mountains, in towns and cities, big and small, urban and rural and who, like me, is financially secure in her life style and living situation. A woman with passions and who likes to discuss ideas. It is all about attitude. Physical and intellectual chemistry is important.

I like "dates" in which we do things that we both enjoy, interacting very much. I've found that we quickly realize if there is a mutual desire to be together. Interactions flow easily or they don't. You either enjoy being with someone or you don't. You anticipate being together again. There is just something wonderful about a smile that fills the face upon seeing one another after being apart for several days. That first hug is wonderful.

I enjoy and need intimacy. I seek a woman who enjoys and needs it as much as I do. When the chemistry is right, it happens naturally and quickly.
