I'm a Florida girl, born and bred. I was raised in Miami but both my parents were "pure country: and I'm very proud of that heritage. I've had more than enough "serious" relationships in my life and am now looking for companionship, friendship, fun and new experiences. I don't need or want anyone to take care of me or provide support, emotional, financial or otherwise. I enjoy music from Glenn Miller to Frank and Dean to the British Invasion to Led Zeppelin to AC/DC. Don't care for jazz or blues (sorry). I like old movies, especially the black and white ones. I'm particularly fond of Westerns of any sort (something I inherited from my Daddy). I love to watch the sunset on the beach. Don't care for the beach during the day; I'm too fair-skinned. I love to go camping (in a tent)and think a camp fire is nothing less than seductive. I love to travel and have been abroad many times. However, as I grow older, I find myself wanting to stay "closer to home" as in on this continent. Not that I would ever rule out another trip overseas. I have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Family is very important to me. As a final note, I truly believe life is too short to be taken too seriously.
