personally I am 5'10, a retired NYC detective, 220, clean shaven, blue eyes, light brown hair and have a PhD in Applied Philosophy. I am retired and divide my time between: golf, surf fishing, reading, doing therapy work with my dog and then all the usual things that take time. my dog is a 90 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback who truly believes that she is a lap dog.

what I am looking for......one big question. I am looking for a woman who is: bright, attractive (in my eyes), tactile ( I am the mushy type and can even enjoy pda's), playful, self assured not conceited, patient (not sure if I'm fully grown), happy, with a minumum of baggage, very romantic, doesn't need to be entertained all the time and wants to be with me because that makes her happy. all in all, I want a lover, partner and confident.

my biggest personal problem is that I am a die hard romantic and I want and need to believe......are you out there?
