I'm reasonably fit, though looking to lose a few pounds. Most importantly, I'm compos mentis. I like most things art and sport included.

I am looking for a bright light, a warm individual with her own mind, but sympathetic to others and their differences. A tolerant, broad-minded individual, who dislikes gossip.

I can be restless and sometimes dislike sitting in the same place too long i.e a film yes. But buckets of TV, no.

I am happiest when walking around the place, stopping for the occasional half pint. I like the cinema, but not the shopping arcades. Best left to the ladies most times.

I would like to meet someone without the whole family thing; I do not need their approval or wish to seek it.

I would like someone who is physically fit for walking, swimming etc.

I can be passionate and romantic. I like cosy night in with me cooking the dinner and her supplying the dessert or vice versa as the fancy takes us.

I thiink I am liberal, generous when I can be; impetuosity is my greatest fault and perhaps surprisingly for an educated man, can be naive at times.


You would be slender, curvaceous or even on the larger side. It is what passes bestowed us that are important. I enjo fantasy. It is a side that I believe keeps it alive. Equally, some nights I can be Mr Straight-laced. I have to be able to read the others mood and wants and sometimes they have to say.

I must admit, I am not the greatest mixer, so it maybe that I would enjoy an evening with a book and music and she may want to go out with her girlfriends.

I would say that I should and will join more things. But most of all I want time to spend together when we want.
