i will save time by getting right to the point. i dont believe in beating around the bush.
i was married for 33 years. we came to the decision that it was best to separate. no specific reason. the kids were gone, and we just didnt communicate at all. so, was the best and we both realized it.
we have been seperated for 5 months now, and we both know that it is over. so, have to wait to settle everything. you know how that goes.
the ex is living in the house now, and i am staying in my sons house, which is in baton rouge.
as for me, i owned a renovation business for 35 years. worked all over southeast louisiana. then came katrina. lost the business and all the employees relocated. so, i just decided to retire and enjoy life.
my son suggested this site, since im too old for the crusing scene, and dont do bar hopping. so how do ya meet people these days? i dunno.
i've been with the same woman for 33 years, and i dont know where to start. just know that i have plenty good years left. dating? scares the living hell out of me, wont lie about that.

i am 5'9" currently at 235 pounds and working hard to get back to 200, which is what i weighed at 18..lol
i dont drink, smoke, gamble. dont lie, as i dont have to impress anybody. well, i do like a beer once in a while. but only one, and an occasional glass of red wine with dinner.
