Strong but Not So Silent I'll be 65 in 4 days and medicare is mine!! I'm a self-employed business woman who has tried retirement and found it very boring and unsatisfying. I have figured out that the reason I didn't like it was that all my friends were still working and there was no one to play with. That is why I am on this site. I'm not sure if I'm looking for a friend, lover, travel companion or just someone to go to an event with. That, I guess, depends on the person.
About me. I have been married twice-once divorced and once widowed. I have 2 sons, both grown and independant. I'm very proud of how they both turned out. I have worked hard all my life and still love my work. My body gets tired quicker than it used to and that's frustrating for me because the mind still goes pretty fast. I have learned to delegate more and not feel guilty about it.
I love traveling, theater, football (especially the Vikings), Texas hold-em, history and my family. I am not afraid to try new things, but I am afraid of heights. (No skydiving or mountain climbing) My time is somewhat flexible and my money somewhat limited. (Gigilos need not respond, sugar-daddies are acceptable)
I'm very open minded about most things. I am very unaccepting of people who judge others before knowing them. This includes race, ------ orientation or other pigionholes some stick others. I love all dogs, and most people. I'm opinionated, independant, honest and caring. I'm looking for someone who can handle that and have an opinion and ideas of their own.
