I have lived a varied life and have learned that what is important to me is being comfortable with myself and not being miserable in the mad quest to accumulate mere "things" but to be happy with what I have.

I do not like conflict, especially the petty and needless conflict that can so easily permeate ones life. I do not like arguments and believe that conflict between two people can be resolved through communication in a rational manner. At the same time, however, I do detest selfish and racist people that abuse the dignity of others and will very vehemently challenge the abuse of human dignity.

I am looking for a woman that is self-confident and knows how to be independent yet at the same time knows the value and quality of life that comes in a shared relationship.

I am not a "party" person in the sense that I indulge myself in drunken stupors that are immaturely classified as "fun". I have left those days behind. However, I do like to have fun and attend social parties in a responsible sense such as First Night that is held in Missoula. One of the events I like to attend when I can is the rehearsals as well as official engagements of the Celtic Dragons as I love bagpipe music.

My music interests are quite varied and not just limited to bagpipes as I grew up on what we now call "classic rock". I also love slow and easy music that I call "mood music" such as Enya, John Hiatt and Bob Dylan to name just a few.

I love camping and most outdoor activities. One of the outdoor activities and cultural events I thoroughly enjoy is the 4th of July Arlee Powwow as well as First Night.
