I am healthy both physically and mentally and live a full life in a beautiful part of this world. The only thing missing is a wonderful partner to share this with. Lake Chapala is one hour south of Guadalajara and we have an international airport just 45 minutes from here.

I was born and raised just outside of NYC in Rockaway Beach. I have three wonderful sons who are on their own and doing well. They are in different parts of the U.S., and I visit them whenever possible. They also come to Mexico to visit me. (to add a note here: Mexico is not at all dangerous if one knows to stay away from the borders where all the fighting is happening.)I take occasional trips to places where I can be near the ocean. In fact just a few years ago I did a cargo ship journey around the world.

My years here, 14 so far, have been mostly taken up with writing and art projects. I never tire of learning and enjoy workshops and classes relating to art and writing. Ten ladies, including me wrote a book and it is now in it's second publication. Recently had some of my photo collages in a local exhibition. I exercise, walk and eat a healthy diet. By now means fanatic about it, but do try and maintain a state of physical and mental energy and good health. I enjoy a wide circle circle of friends.

From NYC to Tampa Florida was an interesting 10 years where my youngest son finished school and went off to University. On my own once again the gypsy bug bit and I went to live and work at The Grand Canyon in Arizona for five fabulous years. I managed a gift shop called The Trading Post and it was probably my favorite job.

Not a kid anymore but still feeling like one, I joined the Peace Corps and spent 26 months working with the Salasacas in Ecuador. They are weavers and I worked to help them find markets for their tapestries. Living at the Canyon and in Ecuador were life changing experiences.
