I don't think that some of it can be fixed. It will pop up now and then. I would like to see it when it does. Our wounds say more about us than our spoken words. It is only after our junk gets tossed up, can we know what scares us and our partner. We can either choose love and acceptance or run from it in fear. Its then, and only then, that intimacy can begin.

You show me your wounds and I will show you mine. Neither revelation is better or worse. The point is that our wounds are separate and they belong to each of us. We reflect our inner most selves by not regretting the past nor shutting the door on it, but by knowing it is there.

Why is it that people get married?
