I joined this site to meet some more mature ladys, and so far nada, so i must be made of kryptonite, cant be any other explnation, im a real easy guy to talk to, and i love to listen, just because i like older women dosent mean im ;looking for a mommy replacement, or i have insecurity issues, its just that women around my age tend to have a me, me, me, complex, there to much into drugs and themselves, how they look to others that they ignore the one there with, the one that counts, and i abore that , anyhoo, I work for a living, im single and enjoy life, ive had my ups and downs, but isnt that part of life : so this is just to let you ladys know, im a nice guy and not a perv, and would appreciate some feedback or someone drop me a line please.. thank you for your time ladys

I really understand your pain. To answer your dilemma, though, no, I don't think you're kryptonite but you are GU (geographically undesirable). I mean, North Dakota, man! I'm from the Los Angeles area, belong to several of these sites and still have found only one person and he's in San Diego County, 150 miles away! So, will you ever find anyone here? Possibly. What are your chances of finding someone here? Slim.

Solutions: find a site for residents of at least the Northern Midwest, move to a more popular area, or be really, really patient.

.The only other dating place online I tried was craigslist.com, and I got a lot of emails. I met some of the men, and all but one were very nice guys. None, unfortunately could or did travel, and that's my passion that I'll continue to do whether alone or with someone. With someone is a preference, though, so I intend to only meet men who have similar wishes. Anyway, craigslist was a good choice for me, since those looking there tend to be more open-minded and interesting (to me) than not. Might want to give that a try...

I can understand your frustration in trying to relate to people you don't have anything in common with.

However, in my lifetime I've dated people much younger and much older and I do find that, the closer in age and experience two people are, the more likely they will be to enjoy their time together.

My stepfather is 9 years younger than my mother and they were together over 50 years before her recent death at age 84.

I say enjoy people of all ages as friends and companions, but hold out for a Ms. Right who is within 10 years of your own age. She's out there, I promise you.
