In the 1960s we could not trust anyone over 35-the establishment. 35 was "really old". At age 40 I had my 4th child (15 years after my last child) and boy I felt old a times. About 4 years ago my 9-year-old grandson called because his teacher told the class to call their grandparents and get information on growing up during a war. I thought he was asking about Vietnam (I wore a MIA bracelet and protested the war; I was a "peace child"). I was aghast because he was researching WWII and its atttendant black-outs. I knew then that his teacher must have thought all grandparents were really, really old. I finally accepted the fact that I am closing in on being old when:
(1) I discovered the 1960s were now covered in history books and
(2) My granddaughter had a child 4 months ago making me a great-grandmother. I am in my early 60s (very, very early 60s) and have come to the conclusion that I will be old when my great-granddaughter has a child. [/img]

`Oh I remember the 60's but was too young to do the 60's.
I agree, its just numbers.
I like getting older.
the alternative is getting dead and I am NOT ready yet.
Too many plans and too many dreams to fulfill yet. I have lots to do and need every minute I can get to do it in.
