I am looking for someone who can make me laugh, someone who can need me/respect me & reciprocate with his own love & laughter.

I've been on Plenty of Fish, Christian Dating For Free with absolutely no luck at all. I was even on Tagged and got scammed pretty badly on there. I will never go back to that site again after that. I am not a couch potato, and the reason I don't have a picture on here is because my computer is broken down, and I have to come to the library all the time to use this one. I try to get my avatar put on here, but when I try to get into the chat part of this site, it tells me I don't have a photo or avatar submitted when I do. I am very honest about everything. I don't lie to anyone. Why lie? It's not going to do any good. It just makes people not want to be around you or talk to you. Anyway, I'm pretty straight forward but compassionate at the same time. If anyone wants to talk to me, please feel free. I've been looking for a good man that won't run away from me for the last eight years with no luck whatsoever. `I get the feeling men in their 50s-60s are looking for someone their own age but they want the woman to look like she is in her 30s. Weall age and things change. We aren't the people we were in our 20s or 30s....inside or out. I changed sites because I was being hit on by con men. I did an ID check on one and he had 5 aliases. I am not stupid and know when a guy says he loves me after talking for a week that the red flags are waving for me. I am getting over major heartbreak right now and am not looking for a relationship. I would simply like to have someone to go out and have coffe with and talk to but I can't even find that. After a while you begin to wonder what is wrong with you.

`I am sure that your experiences have prompted your comments...and I guess that is what most of us do too... I feel the same way about all the phoney women trying to tempt me with illusions and just looking for some honey with money... There must be a good percentage of men (and women) who are completely honest about the person they would like to spend quality time with. I know I am one... and am still searching for a pleseant lady to share time with that is uncomplicated, honest, happy with herself, nice to look at (what's wrong with that?), enjoys conversation and is open to the possibility of intimacy without a marriage commitment. Yup, It is very easy to become cynical after so many phoney's...but there are sincere men out here that prefer to utter meaningful compliments! Sometimes I read about ladies who say the men they contact are too eager to get them into bed (so to speak) or offer insincere flattery... Hell, at our age, we don't have that much time left to 'waste' on too much pleseantries! Every site I have visited seems to have similar results, older men seeking hardbody young ones. I am now hoping that this site specifically for mature men and women will be different. I am optimistic and excited to get to know new people.
