I'm a senior lady looking for a person to email to.I have a good life but sometimes it would be nice to talk to someone besides my cat.Drop me a line sometime. neonhead

`This post is very old. almost 4 years but what this lady is saying inspires me to write something about it. There are lots of seniors that sign up on this site just to find someone to email with, and believe me, one email from anyone would brighten up their lonely lives. When I first signed up here, I received a friendly "HELLO" from an ordinary 84 years old ligally blind gentleman from Miami, and I answered "HELLO" back. His next emails only said: Do you mind being my friend? I responded : "Not at all" and from there on,not a day past without hearing from him even if it was just a "How was your day?"This only lasted one week unfortunatelly, because on the 5th of July I received an email from his grand-daughter thanking me for giving joy to his last days on Earth because he had died on the night of July forth. His last email was on July 4th, telling me "Have a happy 4th"
We never know when we are going to serve as Angels to other people and bring peace and Joy to them in their last days. Be friendly, bring happiness to others, because you never know if you are going to be the next person who needs it.

`Maggie, we are working on the songs "sincerely, old cape cod, harbour lights, and tenderly.. It has been a while since we had any of these in our line up, and the girls are doing great learning to back me up, they re young you know lol

`Dennis, good to see you here. Keep up the good work. You can also email me any time you want. I an retired and sometimes don't like to do any work and kind of forget my writings. I started a new book of poems. I already published 3 and have to start working on my music and maybe publish a book with all of it before time passes and I kick the old bucket like my poor friend from Miami did. lol
